Air Traffic Control Officers

Due to ongoing expansion, London Ashford Airport (Lydd) are looking for an Air Traffic Controller to join our friendly and professional team.

Essential Qualifications are CAA UK ADI/APP ratings, Class 1 Medical. OJTI endorsement and meteorological observers certificate would be an advantage.

Key Tasks are to provide air traffic control service to aircraft on the ground and in the vicinity of Lydd Aerodrome traffic zone, to provide an alerting service and to provide a flight information service including danger area activity information service.

Air Traffic Service Assistant

A vacancy has arisen for the recruitment of one Air Traffic Service Assistant at Lydd Airport.

The role will involve assisting the Air Traffic Controller with mainley administrative duties involving updating flight information, logging aircraft movements, answering the telephones, preparation of weather reports, other miscellaneous task's and co-ordination with the airport fire service and other airport personnel.

The applicant must have five GCSE's A to C grade (to include English and Maths) or the equivilant qualifications.

 

Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, dynamic Marketing Executive with at least two yearˇ¦s marketing or aviation experience to play an integral role in the implementation of the Companyˇ¦s Marketing Strategy.

Supporting the Marketing Manager, you will be required to assist in the development of the Marketing Department and raising the profile of London Ashford Airport Ltd.

You will be a self starter who is motivated and experienced about marketing initiatives and who has an understanding of developing new markets.

Due to the nature of the role you will have excellent project management and communication skills in order to develop client relationships and work to tight deadlines whilst managing a varied workload.

Educated to degree level, you will hold a CIM qualification or should be studying towards it and you should also have an excellent knowledge of MS Office. The ability to speak another European language would be a distinct advantage.

Finally, you will need to have drive, stamina, attention to detail, team playing qualities and have the flexibility and confidence to deal with new situations.
