Catering Assistant (Weekends)
Working in Biggles Bar at London Ashford Airport Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service skills to all of our customers and dealing with their catering needs.
Previous Customer Service experience is not essential, as training will be given on site. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferable.
The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills as well as a 'Can Do' attitude. You will have a good eye for detail as it is essential to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
Finally you must have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including earlies, lates, weekends & bank holidays.
Chef
We require a chef to prepare and cook food for the restaurant ensuring that H&S and food safety is adhered to and to carry out effective and efficient stock control routines.
The successful applicant will be working alongside our existing Chef. The position is a full time position for 40 hours per week and includes weekends, early mornings and evenings.
Key Tasks include:
Being responsible for all of Catering and Food Preparation, Customer Service, Health & Hygiene, Stock Control/Rotation of Stock/Ordering of Stock, Food Records – labelling, wastage, Fly ‘n’ Dine meals and Functions
Customer Service Supervisor
Supervising the current team and working on the Customer Service Desk at London Ashford Airport (Lydd), you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to all of our customers, including Pilots and the General Public.
Previous Aviation and Customer Service experience is preferable although not essential, as training will be given on site. Previous experience in Managing a department and delegating tasks is also preferable.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and computer skills as well as a 'Can Do' attitude. You will have a good eye for detail as it is essential to ensure safety and security standards are met at all times. You must work well as an individual but equally be a team player.
Finally you must have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including earlies, lates, weekends & bank holidays. The current shift pattern is 40 hours a week on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern covering the hours of 0800 - 1900
Trainee Fire Fighter
As part of the continued development at London Ashford Airport Ltd, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of one trainee Firefighter.
The role will involve the successful candidate working to maintain a fully effective Fire & Rescue Service in order to save lives and to protect property in line with company standards and Civil Aviation Authority licensing requirements.
Full training will be given to progress to being a fully qualified aviation Firefighter however, this will involve ongoing internal and external courses with the successful applicant attending a fully residential training course of six weeks in duration at the International Fire Training Centre in Darlington.
The applicant must have good all round health and mobility, a minimum of 4 GCSE’s to include Math’s and English A-C grade along with having a good working knowledge of computer programs. You must also hold a current full clean driving license. A current LGV license is also advantageous.
Finally, the successful candidate will be a self-disciplined, team player, a clear communicator who is reliable and punctual along with a flexible approach to work
